Should I choose a fixed or detachable towbar?
It depends on how often you tow and whether you want the towball removable when it's not in use — tell us what you're towing and we'll recommend the right option.
Do I need 7-pin or 13-pin electrics?
Most modern caravans and trailers use 13-pin, while older trailers and some bike racks still use 7-pin — if you're not sure, let us know what you're towing and we'll fit the right electrics.
Will my dashboard show warning lights after fitting?
Not if the vehicle is coded correctly — many modern vehicles need the towbar electronically coded into the car's systems as part of installation, which we carry out as standard where it's required.
Can you fit a towbar to a van or motorhome, not just a car?
